Professor Omar Mohammed Al-Tom Al-Shami, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dar El Oloum College for Science and Technology, met with Eng. Haj Omar to discuss the implementation of his institution's academic e-learning platform to support the continuation of studies for students enrolled in the College's theoretical and applied academic programs.
The platform is intended to serve students in the Information Technology, Administrative Sciences, Law, Economics, and Banking Studies programs, in addition to supporting the College's professional programs in Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Sciences, and Medical Laboratory Sciences.
Professor Ibrahim Mohammed Adam, Principal of the College, emphasized the importance of utilizing the platform to ensure the continuity of academic activities under the exceptional circumstances facing the country, while minimizing disruption to students' education, particularly those in their graduating cohorts. He noted that this initiative builds upon the College's successful experience in maintaining online instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The College's E-Learning Administration will oversee the operation and management of the platform in collaboration with the College's Headquarters in Qatar.
