Dar El Oloum College Strengthens Its Community Partnerships Through Collaboration with Al-Istiqlal Sports Club
As part of its commitment to community engagement and its vision of strengthening cooperation with local institutions, Dar El Oloum College for Science and Technology held a high-level meeting between the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the management of Al-Istiqlal Sports Club to discuss opportunities for joint academic and sports collaboration.
The meeting focused on establishing a strategic partnership that promotes the exchange of expertise and resources while supporting youth development and enhancing sports infrastructure within the local community. Discussions concluded with a mutual agreement to sign a comprehensive cooperation agreement between the two institutions.
This partnership is of particular importance as it will support the practical and field-training components of the forthcoming Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports program, which is currently in the final stages of approval and accreditation by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Following the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees emphasized that the initiative reflects the College's commitment to serving the community and strengthening ties with its surrounding environment. He noted that Al-Istiqlal Sports Club's facilities and sports grounds will provide an ideal training environment for students, while the College will contribute its academic expertise and qualified professionals to support the Club's athletic and administrative development.
The management of Al-Istiqlal Sports Club welcomed the partnership, describing it as a significant step that will positively impact young people and the sports sector. The Club also expressed its readiness to begin implementing the agreement as soon as the academic program receives its official approval.
The official signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding is expected to take place in the coming days in the presence of senior representatives from both institutions, along with prominent academic and sports figures.
