Professor Omar Mohammed Al-Tom Al-Shami, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dar El Oloum College for Science and Technology, held a meeting with Dr. Salah Ahmoudi, a trainer affiliated with Cisco, to discuss opportunities for collaboration in delivering specialized training for students enrolled in the College's Information Technology Program.
The proposed partnership aims to provide students with internationally recognized training in Cybersecurity, Computer Networks, and Information Systems, equipping them with practical skills that align with current industry standards and enhance their competitiveness in the job market.
It is worth noting that the College graduated the first cohort of its Information Technology Program this year, marking a significant milestone in the program's development.
The initiative will also offer valuable professional development opportunities for faculty members within the Information Technology Program. The training platform will be made available free of charge to the College's students, reflecting the institution's commitment to expanding access to high-quality technical education and professional certification pathways.
