Professor Omar Mohammed Al-Tom Al-Shami, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dar El Oloum College for Science and Technology, accompanied by Professor Ibrahim Mohammed Adam, Principal of the College, met with Professor Mohamed El-Naggar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs at Delta University, to discuss opportunities for academic collaboration between the two institutions.
The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in several key areas, including student and faculty exchange programs, quality assurance and international accreditation, as well as library and information systems.
During the visit, the College delegation, accompanied by the Vice President of Delta University, toured the University's Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, where they were introduced to its state-of-the-art teaching technologies and advanced learning facilities. The delegation also visited the University's Dental Hospital, which is recognized as one of the largest dental hospitals in the world.
At the conclusion of the visit, both institutions agreed to exchange proposals for cooperation as a first step toward signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), laying the foundation for a long-term academic partnership in education, research, and institutional development.
