Chapter one

  Preliminary provisions:
The name of the regulation and its entry into force: This regulation is called the Regulation of Student Behavior in the College of Science and Technology, and its provisions apply to all students of the college and it works from its approval from signing it.
(2) Interpretation: In each paragraph of this regulation, unless the context requires another meaning, the following words and expressions shall have the meaning indicated in front of each of them:
A- College: It means the College of Science and Technology House
B- Regulations: It refers to the provisions contained in the regulation regulating the behavior of students in the college.
C- Student: means every student registered to study at the college with the intention of obtaining any scientific degree granted to him by the Scientific Council.
D - Student Affairs Coordinator: means the one responsible for student affairs in the college.
E - Dean: means the dean of the college.
F- Teaching staff: means every faculty member in the college.
G- Scientific Council: It means the scientific council of the college established according to Article (16) of the founding order
H - Board of Trustees: It means the board of trustees of the college, which was established according to Article (5) of the founding order.
I - College staff: They mean the staff, technicians, workers, technicians and all college staff.
D- Violation: It means any behavior issued by the student in violation of the regulations and systems of the college.
K- Extra-curricular activities: It refers to any extra-curricular activity in the college.
L - Program Coordinator: means the academic program coordinator in the college.
M - Scientific Affairs Secretariat: It means the College Scientific Affairs Secretariat.
N- Investigation Committee: It means a committee composed of the dean of the college or his representative, and is concerned with investigating student violations, collecting evidence in the violation in question, hearing the parties and witnesses, and determining whether there is evidence or not.
J- Accounting Committee: It means a committee composed of the dean of the college or his representative, and is concerned with raising a recommendation for the appropriate punishment for the violating student in accordance with the regulations


Chapter II
Regulation objectives:
1- Ensure the quality of the educational process.
2- Control students' behavior.
3- Protecting students inside the college campus.
4- Correcting undisciplined behavior.

Chapter III
General directives:
1- Every regular student in the college is subject to the provisions of these bylaws.
2- The student behavior regulation shall be published in the Student Handbook.
3- The student is not entitled to invoke lack of knowledge or knowledge of the regulations governing behavior within the college, based on what was stated in Paragraph 2.
4- In the event of a violation of the regulations, the person who caught the violation must write a detailed report and submit it to the Student Affairs Coordinator, along with evidence, evidence and witnesses, if any.
5- The investigation committee consists of the coordinator of student affairs and the coordinator of the program to which the violating student is affiliated (unless he is a party to the incident) or his representative from among the faculty members of the program and one of the jurists in the college.
6- The investigation committee submits its report and recommendations to the dean of the college.
7- The student may not withdraw from the college or give up his party before deciding on the incident.
8- The dean forms an accounting committee based on Paragraph 6 based on the recommendations of the investigation committee.
9- Not granting the student a party liberation from the college or freezing unless the incident is decided.
10- In cases of cheating in the exam or any scientific plagiarism, the Secretariat for Scientific Affairs is responsible for these cases.
11- The Dean of the College must inform the departments and units of the decisions concerned with the punishment approved by the Accounting Committee on the student.
12- In the event that any of the penalties are imposed, the student has the right to submit an appeal within a week from the date of the decision
13- The decisions of the accounting committee of the dean of the college and the administrative decisions of the dean are appealed to (the chairman of the college’s board of trustees), and the decision regarding them is final.
13- It is not permissible to impose two different penalties for a single violation, and it is taken into account in imposing the punishment that it be appropriate with the size of the violation and in a way that achieves the educational goals.

  Violations and their types:
1/ Violation means any behavior issued by the student in violation of the rules and regulations of the college stipulated in this bylaw or any other bylaw. Violations that require penalties: It is divided into major and minor violations
2/ Minor violations: These are the violations that may be adjudicated by the responsible persons mentioned below (or whoever acts on their behalf), each according to his area of competence.
3/ Minor violations, which are as follows:
A. Violation and non-compliance with the dress code prescribed by the college.
B. Refrain from presenting the university card when requested by an official in the college.
C. Expose employees and workers with words that show disrespect for them.
D. Non-compliance with the directives of professors and faculty staff.
C. Negligence-induced damage to one or more of the college's property.
4/ In the case of minor violations, the following penalties are imposed:
A. Rebuke and draw attention.
b. A written personal warning.
T. Summoning the guardian, informing him of the violation, informing him of the student's behavior, and acknowledging the punishment imposed on him.
D. Temporary deprivation of study or any student activity for a period not exceeding two weeks, provided that the right to deprivation of study is limited to the dean of the college, and the dean of the college must notify the Scientific Council of the penalty, and the Scientific Council has the right to consider the student's request for forgiveness or to cancel the penalty.
C. Pay the full value for any damage resulting from the violation, whether it was in books, furniture, buildings, or other property of the college or private property. The dean of the college should invite the board of trustees and present the matter to the council to review the matter, and the council has the right to take additional measures to preserve the property the college .


5/ Major Violations: These include the following:
A. Incitement to refrain from entering lectures, disrupting studies, or creating riots within lectures and showing rebellion.
B. Violation of correct behavior and misbehavior on campus, whether inside the hall or during extra-curricular activity.

5/ Major Violations: These include the following:
A. Incitement to refrain from entering lectures, disrupting studies, or creating riots within lectures and showing rebellion.
B. Violation of correct behavior and misbehavior on campus, whether inside the hall or during extracurricular activities.
C. Any impersonation, use of another student's university card, or forgery of official documents.
D. Every word or deed that affects the heavenly beliefs, whether it was verbal or deliberate action to offend the beliefs.
C. Verbal or physical assault on others (colleagues or college employees)
H. Publishing college documents on social media without prior permission from the university administration.
G. Holding events or any activities without prior knowledge from the college administration or the Office of the Student Affairs Coordinator.
D. Any intentional sabotage or disruption of the college's equipment and property.
i. Possession, carrying or using any firearm, knife, skewer, stick, or any tool that is in itself a weapon, or any incendiary or flammable materials, projectiles, ammunition, or any materials that endanger.
R. Using loudspeakers or any other means that affect achievement in study halls, laboratories, and libraries without written permission from the college administration.
G. Committing any act that in itself constitutes a crime in the eyes of the country’s laws when this act affects the students or employees of the college or their interests or the general reputation of the college, noting that conviction in this act or not does not affect the authority of the college in holding the student administratively accountable.

6/ In the case of major violations, the following penalties are imposed:
a. Suspension of the student temporarily from studies for a period not exceeding two semesters.
B. Giving the student a written warning, and in case of repeating the same violation, he will be permanently dismissed from the university.
C. Depriving the student from extra-curricular activities for a period not exceeding one semester.
D. Final dismissal from the college after a decision by the university professors council based on the vision of the accounting committee.
E. A financial fine, the value of which is determined by the Accounting Committee.
