Chapter one
Preliminary provisions:
The name of the regulation and its entry into force: This regulation is called the Student Behavior Regulation in the College of Science and Technology, and its provisions apply to all students of the college, and it works towards approval from the date of signing it.
(2) Interpretation: In each paragraph of these Regulations, unless the context requires another meaning, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings indicated opposite each of them:
A- College: It means the house of the College of Science and Technology
B - Regulations: Refers to the provisions contained in the regulations governing student behavior in the college.
C- Student: means every student registered to study in the college with the intention of obtaining any scientific degree granted to him by the Scientific Council.
D- Student Affairs Coordinator: means the one responsible for student affairs in the college.
E - Dean: means the dean of the college.
F- Teaching staff: means every faculty member in the college.
G- Scientific Council: It means the scientific council of the college established according to Article (16) of the founding decision
H - Board of Trustees: It means the Board of Trustees of the College, which was established according to Article (5) of the founding decision.
I - College Staff: They mean the staff, technicians, workers, technicians and all the staff of the college.
D- Violation: It means any action taken by the student in violation of the rules and regulations of the college.
K- Extra-curricular activities: It is any extracurricular activity in the college.
L - Program Coordinator: means the academic program coordinator in the college.
M- Scientific Affairs Secretariat: It means the college’s scientific affairs secretariat.
N- Investigation Committee: It means the committee formed by the dean of the college or his representative. It is specialized in investigating student violations, collecting evidence in the said violation, hearing the parties and witnesses, and determining whether there is evidence or not. .
J - Accounting Committee: It means the committee formed by the dean of the college or his representative, and is concerned with raising a recommendation for the appropriate punishment for the violating student in accordance with the regulations.
Chapter two
Organization goals:
1- Ensuring the quality of the educational process.
2- Regulate student behavior.
3- Protecting students inside the college campus.
4- Correcting disorderly behavior.
Chapter III
General directions:
1- Every regular student in the college is subject to the provisions of these bylaws.
2- The Student Code of Conduct shall be published in the Student Handbook.
3- The student is not entitled to invoke a lack of knowledge or knowledge of the regulations governing behavior within the college based on what was stated in Paragraph (2).
4- In the event of a violation of the regulations, the person who caught the violation must write a detailed report and submit it to the Student Affairs Coordinator, together with evidence, evidence and witnesses, if any.
5- The investigation committee consists of the student affairs coordinator and the program coordinator to whom the violating student is affiliated (unless he is a party to the incident) or whoever acts on his behalf from among the program faculty members and one of the program faculty members. college judges.
6- The investigation committee submits its report and recommendations to the dean of the college.
7- The student may not withdraw from the college or give up his party before deciding on the incident.
8- The debt constitutes an accounting committee on the basis of paragraph (6) based on the recommendation of the investigation committee.
9- Not granting the student a partisan clearance from the college or freezing it unless the incident is decided.
10- In cases of cheating in the exam or any scientific theft, the Scientific Affairs Secretariat is responsible for these cases.
11- The Dean of the College must inform the departments and units of the decisions related to the punishment that the Accounting Committee approves of the student.
12- In the event of imposing any of the penalties, the student has the right to file a grievance within a week from the date of the decision.
13- The decisions of the accounting committee of the dean of the college and the administrative decisions of the dean are appealed to (the chairman of the board of trustees of the college), and the decision on them is final.
13- It is not permissible to impose two different penalties for a single violation, and it is taken into account when presenting the appropriate punishment for the size of the violation and in a manner that achieves the educational goals.
