End of the Academic Year at Dar El Oloum College for Science and Technology

The Academic Council of Dar El Oloum College for Science and Technology, chaired by the College Dean, Professor Ibrahim Mohamed Adam, approved in its regular meeting No. (2) for the year 2025 the final results of the second semester for the College’s seven academic programs: Medicine and Surgery, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Nursing Sciences, Information Technology, Law, Economic and Banking Studies, and Administrative Sciences.

In his presentation of the results, Dr. Mohamed Adam Munfal, Secretary of Academic Affairs, explained that the largest examination centers this semester were located at the College’s main campus in Al-Lamab, Khartoum, which the College administration rehabilitated starting from June of last year. He added that the practical training was conducted at Bakht Al Rida University and the Military Medical Corps in Omdurman, and that training is still ongoing for students who studied in other locations due to the war.
Dr. Munfal further confirmed that the College has admitted substantial numbers across all its programs, with only a limited number of available seats remaining—particularly in the medical programs. These remaining seats will be filled following the announcement of admission results for candidates of the 2023 Sudanese High School Certificate.

For his part, the College Dean, Professor Ibrahim, stated that the results reflected significant efforts by the College’s senior administration and program coordinators, enabling all students who remained in contact with the College to resume their studies, sit for examinations, and achieve promising grades despite the difficult circumstances of the war.

Professor Omar Mohamed Al-Toum, Chairman of the College’s Board of Trustees, praised the accomplishments achieved, affirming that the reconstruction stages at the College have progressed substantially, particularly in relation to buildings. He also noted that major efforts have been made to rehabilitate the laboratories in cooperation with leading specialized companies in the field.

In addition, the Academic Council approved the academic calendar for the 2026–2027 year, which—God willing—will commence on 3 January 2026 for all academic levels.
